Re: ’BREAKING’ NEWS (2)

How traumatic, LJ!  You have been through a lot!  Hoping you are on the mend and that the wafflette is playing a big role. It's great that you have so much support. The Madison sisterhood supports you from afar.

Synopsis of BN (1)

It was a sunny, windless day at Point Lobos, one of the most beautiful spots on earth (immediately south of Carmel).

The shades of intense blue, turquoise, pale green waters a sight to behold!  A perfect day ...for pictures...to be hiking...together with a great pal!

The editor of "Breaking News" refined   'breaking' with a fall that took us for a ride in a ranger's car (no ambulance 🚑 could access the scene) to Carmel hospital.  Yup, broken fibula plateau. 😭

Now go to bottom of pix...😁

NOW, the best news, I am using crutches (no weight on foot situation) and  I find it difficult not to over-do.

I have laid out all of the utensils and materials needed to play with my new wafflette device to make cinnamon waffles tomorrow morning.

This is all such a leap from The Cove, beginning in mid-August ... 😩

And would not have been possible without a squadrons/flock helping me "every step of the way."

Gratitude is seems anemic for how my soul and heart feel.

With love,

Laura/LJ

My pristine bed stand for 15 minutes.

Five weeks and two days later, it was time to "move" back to my bedroom.
Pic shows all that needed to be moved with the help of wagons courtesy of Mayflower Moving 🐵!

Chauncey Cove was established to surround me with all I needed - meds, water, coffee, peanut butter and a lot of etcetera!

Absolutely magnificent bouquet to Oma from Kimi.  The magic of flowers and the scents they offer is superb soul food.
