Yacht Club

Pointing our bow and gently plowing into the bank of this Cambodian River, we moored in/on the bank and visited a large fishing city/large town (extremely basic) wandered markets with live chickens, hog heads (hogs dead), fresh fish (both available) for sale on the street, and a large wire container straddling a motor bike full of unhappy baby pigs, as well.

How times have changed and this Seoul airport is the cat's in every way!

Sleeping Beauty...

...she's not!

Ten-hour lay-over in Seoul after 4-1/2 hour flight from Cambodia...decided not to spend the $$$ at the Transit Hotel in the amazingly lovely and unusual airport in Icheon.

INSTEAD, I found a reclining sleeper sofa, got chilly and "rented (2) free" blankets supplied by the airport, and sent an absurd "selfie"... 6 hours to go!!!

Back to sleep now. Gulliver

Scene Changes...

...from green Delta and barges on Mekong River to larger vessels, flat farm land in Cambodia. This is national geographic stuffe coming alive on this trip. Food is superb...adventures and sights never-ending. Prowled around Phnom Phen today...soooo very different than Hanoi or Saigon. More sophisticated and much more prosperity.

Cambodia, here we come!

On the Mekong river heading to Phenom Phen. Quite the trip...enjoying canals, markets with fresh rat, skinned frogs (ALIVE!), and beautiful friendly people. Cambodia is appearing much more developed /advanced than what we saw in Viet Nam. A gem of a trip so far!
